Its Tems‘ world, we’re all just living in it.

With prominent features on both WizKid’sEssence” and Drake’sFountains,” as well as an incredible collaboration with Mannywellz (“Peace”) Lagos, Nigeria-based singer/songwriter Tems is ready to make her own mark stateside.

The follow-up to her 2020 debut, For Broken Ears, Tems has dropped her sophomore EP If Orange Was A Place. A five-song drop, the project is led by its opening track “Crazy Tings” and boasts a feature from Brent Faiyaz.

“I have learnt to let go and just live life and just do what comes naturally to me,” Tems said to Apple Music. “It has helped me find a new freedom of expression and a new vibe that isn’t based on past experiences but present moments. Orange is a vibe. It is the feeling of sunset and the sweetness of an orange. And when I think of those songs, I am transported to a different place where everything is warm and sweet.”
