Red Sox at Mariners lineups: Gotta get away

The Sox look to nab the series from the Mariners this afternoon in Seattle.

The Red Sox and Mariners finish up their three-game series this afternoon in Seattle as Tanner Houck looks to give Boston the series win (4:10 p.m., NESN, MLBN out-of-network).

To be completely honest, I forgot until right this instance, more or less, the game was in the afternoon. This is because the Sox are headed back to the East Coast after this, to play baseball games at dignified hours. They’re getting a head start on the dignity part by playing this one in the afternoon.

Lefty Marco Gonzales goes for the M’s, boasting a 4.05 ERA. Though I dunno if he’d boast about that. It’s certainly not bad, so maybe just drop it into casual conversation more than blare it out. Tanner Houck’s at 3.54 and is only a rookie, so he might want to put a little oomph into it and crow away.

The lineup looks much the same as it has all series. The big question is who will make the absurdly bad defensive play today! Take your guess in the comments. Here are the full lineups:
