Two additional Johnson & Johnson vaccine batches made at Emergent BioSolutions in Baltimore have federal clearance for use.The Food and Drug Administration determined the previously made batches meet its emergency use authorization standard.To date, the FDA has cleared eight batches produced at the Bayview facility for use. Earlier this month, Emergent got the green light to produce the J&J vaccine, also known as the Janssen vaccine.The facility halted production in March after 100 million vaccine doses became contaminated.
