Realme's Dizo launches 2 new smartwatches via Flipkart

Apple may have launched the latest, series 7 version of its Watch just recently; however, Realme has responded through the medium of its new Dizo brand, with the launch of not 1 but 2 potentially compelling alternatives from the other end of the wearable price spectrum.

Of these, the new Pro seems to be a re-brand of the Realme Watch 2 Pro, with its 1.75-inch display, continuous heart rate tracking, blood-oxygen sensor and 100 sports modes. On the other hand, these specs still might make it a good buy at its INR 4,499 (~US$61) launch price; furthermore, the Dizo version comes with 2 new Black and Space Blue band options.

The Dizo Watch 2, on the other hand, is a completely distinct product. It has a 1.69-inch display, which is about 21% larger compared to the brand's first-gen Watch (which is in itself a rehash of the 1.4-inch Realme Watch 2).

It has a reduced pixel density compared to its Pro counterpart (240 x 280 as opposed to 320 x 385), kept on with a 260mAh battery. Dizo asserts that it still has appreciable all-day visibility with a 2.5D curved-glass crystal and the same 600-nit brightness as the Pro.

It also has a chassis with 50m water resistance - although the Watch Pro is IP68 certified. The 2 also has the same cardiological tracking specs as the other new Dizo wearable, although it has just 15 sports modes. It will cost just INR 1,999 (~$28) when it goes live alongside the Pro on September 22, 2021.
