Break the anchor, in collaboration with The Apprenticeshop, announces the Film Festival CineMar - 1st Exhibition of Portuguese Cinema in Relation to the Sea – Films, Conversations & Workshops, organized by the Break The Anchor Cooperative (USA/POR), on September 24, 25, and 26 to joining the World Maritime Day celebrations.

This first edition of Cinemar will take place online through a diversity of platforms due to the current covid19 pandemic situation. Donations towards Break The Anchor or The Apprenticeshop are encouraged but the event is free with the support of the MNE – Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Portuguese Communities.

The Festival is geared towards education, addressing different student age groups.
