Nate Diaz is a complicated individual when it comes to competing in the Octagon. It appears each fight takes a long time to book for the UFC.

It all has to do with Diaz realizing his value and negotiating intelligently. He only fights on his terms against who he wants.

He's the modern-day equivalent of ‘Cool Hand Luke' the anti-authority, anti-hero his fellow colleagues look up to. It's a very smart way of doing business and so far it has led to some big opportunities for the Stockton native.

Recently he made a big reveal on when he is looking to return. There were rumors out there on who he wanted and when he could fight next.

Nate Diaz went on Instagram and let the MMA world know he was looking for a return in either November or December. It appears he has been in the gym training too.

His brother Nick Diaz is set to return to the cage later this month when he takes on Robbie Lawler in a rematch. The end of 2021 could be a big one for the Diaz brothers.

Nate Diaz last fought against Leon Edwards in June, losing a unanimous decision. The fight went viral after Diaz hurt Edwards in the fifth round and almost got the finish.

A November or December return makes a lot of sense timeline-wise as 5-6 months away from the cage is usually the norm for fighters.

An opponent is yet to be revealed for Diaz although it is looking like Vicente Luque could be the return opponent.
