Disc Golf: 32 compete in 11th annual Watrous Doubles Tournament

A total of 32 men and women from northeast Colorado showed up at the Watrous Disc Golf Course in Brush on Saturday, Sept. 11, for the 11th annual Watrous Doubles Disc Colf Tournament.

“It was a beautiful day that got a bit warm, but the wind was minimal, and everyone seemed to have a good time,” competitor Wayne Carlson said.

Teams played in four divisions, determined by their choice and their skill levels. Winners and second place finishers in each division received plaques, and other prizes were awarded.

Everyone played 27 baskets. Par for the event was 81. Results are listed by division.

Division I: Advanced Doubles

2. Ginger Work and David Work – 77
