A D'Leon's restaurant in Lincoln reports having been burglarized Monday morning.
According to the Lincoln Police Department (LPD), on Sept. 14 around 8:30 a.m., officers were called to the D'Leon's on 824 S 27th Street.
Officers contacted three employees who reported that the restaurant had been burglarized.
Police learned that a man entered the store and cornered two female employees while demanding money.
During the robbery, the suspect implied he had a weapon, but he did not show it.
The employees saw an opportunity to escape the man, and they ran out of the store. The suspect then took money out of the register and left.
