Chamberpalooza is back for a second round.
The Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce is banding together with three Lancaster County chambers — Manheim, Elizabethtown and Northern Lancaster County — to host one large event.
The members-only event, dubbed Chamberpalooza, will run from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 at the Barn and Barrel on the grounds of the Mount Hope Estate & Winery, 2775 Lebanon Road (Route 72), Manheim.
This will be the second Chamberpalooza for the four chambers. The event was conceived by Karen Groh, president/CEO of the Lebanon Valley Chamber.
Groh said the event evolved from a conversation she had with one of the other chamber members about an event that the Elizabethtown Chamber had hosted. She reached out to its director and their discussions planted the seed for a collaborative event.
“The concept behind Chamberpalooza was to expand the networking opportunities for our regional businesses,” Groh explained. “We have a great working relationship with our neighboring chambers and are often looking for opportunities to combine efforts to do better for our business communities.
“In 2019, the first year of Chamberpalooza, we had over 200 attendees having conversations and making connections.”
“We have not been able to hold this event since 2019 and are excited about its return,” said Kristie Schmid, executive director of the Manheim Chamber. “Chamberpalooza is a unique opportunity for members (of the four chambers) to meet new people and learn more about other local businesses.”
The Barn and Barrel at Mount Hope was selected as the venue since it’s centrally located for all of the chambers. It also offers a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces in a relaxed setting.
Barn and Barrel is a renovated historic barn overlooking Mount Hope’s production winery. The first floor’s stonework bar area and preserved second-floor event space features original wooden beams, flooring and metal roofing.
Chamberpalooza is limited to members of the four chambers. Cost is $20. Members should register with their individual chamber. Registration cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to the event or attendees will be charged. Attendance at the event is at your discretion.
