Dallas ISD is facing a problem that will actually make a TON of students quite happy, especially at lunchtime.

The district is currently facing a shortage in plastic silverware that is forcing schools to alter their menu's a little bit, and add more "finger-foods" to "reduce the use of flatware related items in schools," according to WFAA.

Some of the changes include adding veggie sticks in place of salads, and instead of spaghetti, students will enjoy more items like burgers, baked fries, or pizza.

Michael Rosenberger, the executive director of food and child nutrition services for Dallas ISD, promised that the district will work through the current supply issues, saying "We’re going to have amazing meals every single day, for every child in Dallas ISD."
