DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police have busted a sizable illegal marijuana grow operation on city's west side.
Officers with the department's 6th Precinct responded to a breaking and entering call on Tuesday at a building on Fitzpatrick Street near Plymouth Road.
When officers arrived to the area, multiple people fled, leaving behind bushels of marijuana inside and around a warehouse.
Police say more than 100 bushels of marijuana in total were confiscated in the raid.
