As we get closer to the release of The Wheel of Time on Amazon, viewers are getting the books. The Eye of the World is one of the most sold Amazon books from last week.

The Wheel of Time is one of the most anticipated Amazon shows of 2021. We’ve waited so long for it. In fact, we’ve just waited so long for a great adaptation of the fantasy book series, and this Amazon show already promises to offer a lot.

It’s not surprising that prospective fans are picking up the books. Some will have read the books in the past and want to read them again. Others will be reading for the first time before the show premieres. Others will just want to get the books ready to read after the series airs on Amazon Prime Video.

With that in mind, it’s not surprising that The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan is on the list of most sold Amazon books last week. What is surprising is that this is the very first time the book has made it to the list! It’s entered in 13th place, but we’re expecting movement up in the coming weeks.

More new books, new Top 3, and more

It’s not the only new novel on the list of most sold Amazon books. A Slow Fire Burning by Paula Hawkins entered in third place. The whole Top 3 changed with The Madness of Crowds by Louise Penny dropping out of the list. The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave and Billy Summers by Stephen King both moved up one spot each.

The Casanova by T.L. Swan moved up a spot too, taking over fifth place from Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. In fact, The Madness of Crowds and Project Hail Mary both dropped out of the Top 5.

Other new additions were in the second half of the list. The Aristocrat by Penelope Ward entered in 11th place and Dirty Curve by Meagan Brandy entered in 16th place. Stolen Thoughts by Tim Tigner was the last of the new additions, entering in 18th place.
