BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Two people were hospitalized after Bedford County first responders were called out to a crash involving a tractor-trailer.

According to a Facebook post from the Forest Volunteer Fire Department on Tuesday, Sept. 14, crews responded to the Waffle House on Forest Road for a vehicle crash.

While en route, the department says dispatch confirmed to units that at least one person was trapped because of the crash.

Fire officials say that crews cut one person out of a vehicle and brought two people to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
