REAPER curates Space Yacht’s debut drum ‘n’ bass compilation, ‘Critical Mass Vol. 1’
Space Yacht is minting its newly founded label imprint with a 14-track drum ‘n’ bass compilation titled Critical Mass Vol. 1. The album’s tracklist has not only been curated and selected by one of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists to Watch in 2021, REAPER, but also features a collaboration with the masked producer himself and SLANG DOGS titled “RELOAD.” Speaking on the label’s first-ever drum ‘n’ bass compilation, REAPER shared,
“The ‘Critical Mass’ compilation is a glimpse into drum ‘n’ bass’s momentous energy. One of my favorite parts about this diverse collection of music is that it can be enjoyed all the way from the warehouse to the stadium.”
Critical Mass Vol. 1 continues to demonstrate Space Yacht’s mission of “showcasing the next generation of dance music” as the compilation follows Tech My House Vol. 1 and Big Bass Ting Vol. 1 compilations from earlier this year. Featured is Play Me Records boss Reid Speed as well as newcomers to the scene such as segan, NIK P, Skellytn, Kumarion, Justin Hawkes, Slippy, Poni, Rohaan, Audioscribe, CLB, AIRGLO, Aly Ryan, and Dr. Apollo.
