Tito Ortiz thanked his fellow UFC legend Anderson Silva for his touching gesture after their recent boxing match.

On Saturday, former UFC champions Tito Ortiz and Anderson Silva went head-to-head inside the ring. The match didn’t last long as the Brazilian stunned “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” in the very first round and was declared winner via KO.

Unlike other rivals, Silva showed commendable sportsmanship which he extended outside the squared ring.

In the sponsored flight out of Florida, where the match took place, Silva gave up his first-class seat to Ortiz’s girlfriend and former ring girl Amber Nichole Miller so the couple could enjoy the flight alongside each other.

Grateful for Silva’s sweet gesture, Ortiz thanked the former UFC middleweight champ on social media.

According to Ortiz, it was “the biggest thing” Silva has done to him.

“The biggest thing I think Anderson Silva has ever done to me, I’m very thankful. He just actually gave up his 1st class ticket for Amber to sit here,” Ortiz said in the video.

“The flight’s messed up, the airline, Jet Blue, [all] messed up,” the former UFC light heavyweight champ revealed. “But, Anderson Silva gave up his seat for Amber to sit next to me. Anderson Silva, you’re the man, dude. Thank you very much. Amazing man. Nothing but respect.”

Silva has been having quite a time participating in boxing matches following his UFC retirement.

Ortiz, on the other hand, has failed to leave a good impression in his debut but has vowed to “continue” boxing.
