The New Jersey native has worn a lot of hats over the years, starting his career in the late ’80s as a comedian. He transitioned from stand-up comedy into sitcoms during the late ’90s and eventually found his way onto Fear Factor. Rogan hosted the game show from 2001 to 2006 and later returned to host again for the 2011-2012 season.

In more recent years, Rogan has enjoyed a lucrative career as a commentator. His podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, is one of Spotify’s most popular podcast options, occasionally courting controversy with his divisive opinions. His long-standing and diverse career has earned him an impressive income over the years, one that only continues to grow.

Rogan has enjoyed widespread media attention over the last several years, particularly following some of his more controversial statements. People tend to have thoroughly split opinions about Rogan, whose false remarks about the COVID-19 vaccine earned him a shout-out from Anthony Fauci himself.

Despite — or perhaps because of — Rogan’s tendency to court controversy, he has accumulated a huge number of fans — and a paycheck to match — over the years. Rogan’s net worth currently stands at $120 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, and grows larger every year.

Rogan pulls in around $60 million on an annual basis, according to the site, mostly from his popular podcast. He might even make closer to $65 million a year. A lucrative 2020 deal with Spotify massively increased Rogan’s income, propelling it from an estimated $5 million per year in 2017 to more than $20 million today, from his podcast alone. As noted by Celebrity Net Worth, Rogan also earns a solid income from other sources, including his stand-up comedy and his work as a UFC commentator.
