A weird synergy, perhaps, that the year Kris Bryant is traded away, the Cubs see his rookie home run record tied by the guy who nominally replaced him at third base. And it’s a guy who is older than Bryant, no less.
Patrick Wisdom has been in quite a slump the last few weeks, but there was no doubting tonight’s massive blast:

That was 447 feet out to left center. Just obliterated. Wisdom almost went out oppo earlier in the game, too, so he must be seeing Kyle Gibson well.
