Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta Weekend 2 Starts This Weekend

Following the recent conclusion of the first weekend of the Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta event, players on more than just PlayStation can now look forward to the second weekend, due to begin later this week. Starting on the 16th of September, this event will be the first opportunity for Xbox and PC players to try out the game.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta Weekend 2

The second of the two weekends of the Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta will begin on the 16th of September. This event will be several days longer than the first weekend and will span two distinct sections. On the 16th and 17th, the event will be available to play for everybody on PlayStation. During the first weekend, only players with Early Access (secured by pre-ordering the game) could access the Beta. Additionally, players with Early Access on Xbox and PC will also be able to play on these two days.

From the 18th until the end of the Beta event, the Beta will shift to public on all platforms. These final few days will be the only opportunity for players on Xbox and PC who haven’t pre-ordered to try out Call of Duty: Vanguard before release. Neither Activision nor Sledgehammer Games have confirmed whether there will be any further Beta events or not. However, given that there has already been an Alpha and a PlayStation-only Beta, it seems fairly unlikely. Players will probably have to wait until release after this weekend.

The Beta event is focusing solely on Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Multiplayer. The Champion Hill, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Patrol, and Team Deathmatch modes will all be available to play. Furthermore, Search & Destroy, a new mode which wasn’t available during the first weekend, will also be available. As for maps, the second weekend will feature Champion Hill’s maps, Hotel Royal, Gavutu, and Red Star. As a bonus, the Eagle’s Nest may will also be playable; another new addition since the first weekend.
