Paula R. Wray

North Falmouth - Paula Roche Wray, of Mashpee and North Falmouth, MA., formerly of Naples, FL, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 after a brief illness.

She was born in Belmont, MA. October 14, 1933 to Irene (Shea) Roche and Paul Roche. Paula is predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, C. Robert Wray.

A graduate of Belmont High School, she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Salve Regina College. Paula maintained lifelong friendships with her classmates from high school and college. She taught elementary school in New Bedford , MA. and later at St. Francis Xavier School in New Milford, CT. and Villa Duchesne Oak Hill School in St. Louis, MO.

Paula is survived by her two loving daughters, Kathanne Fowler, of West Hartford, CT. and Maura Leddy (Jack) of Raynham and North Falmouth, MA. She was predeceased by her children Christopher Wray and Sheila Wray.

Paula adored her grandchildren, Chesleigh Fowler Pas (Adam), Tierney Leddy, Patrick Leddy and Julia Fowler as well as her great-grandson, Lukas Pas.

Visiting hours are Thursday, September 16 from 4-7pm at Chapman Funerals & Cremations in West Falmouth, 548 Route 28A, West Falmouth, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 17 at 10:00am at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Quaker Rd., North Falmouth, MA, followed by a burial at North Falmouth Cemetery.
