GOP field office opened Tuesday targeting Hispanic voters

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel says Wisconsin is a top priority ahead of the 2022 midterms. The RNC opened a new field office at South 13th and West Lincoln in Milwaukee Tuesday, calling it the "Milwaukee Hispanic Community Center," a move being replicated across the country. "We have many shared values, but habitually the Republican Party has not shown up to these communities," McDaniel said in an interview with WISN 12. "So when you talk about things like school choice, when you talk about defunding the police, there's so many things that we discuss as a party that really resonate in the Hispanic community but we can't just talk about it a month before the election."McDaniel said Wisconsin is a top state of focus. "Ron Johnson obviously hasn't decided if he's going to run, but it will be a critical battleground Senate seat to determine if we can take back the majority," McDaniel said. "We're gonna be significantly invested. This is one of I'd say marquee seven, eight seats, states in the country that we’re going to have a full-blown investment."
