Ontario County Public Health: 21 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday

HOPEWELL -- Ontario County Public Health is reporting 21 new COVID-19 community cases as of 4 p.m. Sept. 14.

They range in age from under 1 to over 90 years old, with 11 of the people being unvaccinated, nine who are vaccinated and two who are too young for vaccine, health officials said.

Since the start of the pandemic, 8,323 COVID-19 cases have been reported; 114 people have died and 8,027 have recovered.

Ontario County remains in the High category for transmission, which is the highest level, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
