Watch the Opening Scene of the FX on Hulu Sci-Fi Drama Series Y: THE LAST MAN

FX on Hulu has released the opening scene of their apocalyptic sci-fi drama series Y: The Last Man. The show opens up on a world in which all the men (except one) have dropped dead. This includes all the male animals as well, which means there are lots of dead animals, which also means I probably won’t watch this show. But, I digress.

The series stars Ben Schnetzer, Diane Lane, Ashley Romans, Olivia Thirlby, Juliana Canfield, Elliot Fletcher, Marin Ireland, Amber Tamblyn, and Diana Bang.

Here's the official synopsis:

Based on DC Comics' acclaimed series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y: The Last Man traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one cisgender man and his pet monkey. The series follows the survivors in this new world as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better.
