The categories include: 999 Hero, Best Charity, Best Doctor, Best Midwife, Best Nurse, Ground breaking Pioneer, Mental Health Hero, National Lottery Award, Ultimate lifesaver, Unsung Hero and Young Hero.

The National Lottery and NHS Charities Together have teamed up to sponsor the event in Camden.

This year, the awards are honouring the late Caroline Flack by naming an award in her honour.

Although the award is taking place on Tuesday night, it will be shown on Channel 4 on Sunday at 7.30pm - with Davina McCall hosting the show.

Ulrika's outing comes after she was forced to withdraw from Celebrity SAS two weeks ago after medical experts stepped in.

The weather presenter had struggled to recover after getting mild hypothermia on the first challenge which saw the stars have to swim ashore and run up the mountainous terrain in Scotland with rucksacks on their back.
