Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Paddy Dingle will make a very surprising deal with Kim Tate next week as his worries over the Woolpack's ownership force him into a corner.
The pub has been a cause for concern for owners Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) recently due to their financial worries, which are exacerbated this week by Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano)'s accident with a BBQ, and Chas' husband Paddy (Dominic Brunt) has been feeling the strain on the family too.
In scenes to air next week, Paddy is left horrified when Marlon not only accepts Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) as a potential investor in the pub but offers to sell him his entire stake. Paddy can't stand the idea of Al being involved in the pub, particularly as Al and Chas had a brief flirtation last year.

With nowhere else to turn, Paddy heads to Home Farm and asks Kim (Claire King) to help him get rid of Al. Kim argues that forcing Al out of Hawksford Outdoor Pursuits would be in her interests, so she needs Paddy to sweeten the deal for her.
When a horse breeder attempts to low-ball Kim over the value of her new stallion, Kim has an idea. Knowing that Paddy is desperate for her help, she sees an opportunity to win a crucial horse race and offers Paddy a Faustian pact – if he dopes her race horse, she will give him the money he needs to keep Al out of the Woolpack.
Distraught Paddy has to decide whether he will sell his soul and use his veterinary skills to do what Kim has asked, and Kim is left satisfied when Paddy agrees to her deal.

As the pair meet up in a lay-by near the racecourse, nervous Paddy feels further backed into a corner when Kim suggests that his problems could get even worse if her horse doesn't win the race.
Stressed Paddy listens in to the big race, willing Kim's doped horse to finish in first place.
Later on, Paddy is relieved when Kim returns to the lay-by after her horse wins its race. Pleased by the horse's victory, she hands Paddy an envelope full of cash, as agreed.

But Paddy's ordeal might not be over yet, as Kim then makes him an offer to make this a regular assignment.
