Starting Tuesday at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts you will not only need a ticket to enjoy a concert, but you'll also need to show proof that you've been vaccinated for COVID-19.
There is also reduced seating capacity, which will allow for social distancing as an additional prevention measure against the spread of COVID-19.
As far as proving vaccination status, patrons will need to bring their vaccination card or a photo of the card. Patrons can also show documentation from an accredited health care provider. A recent negative COVID-19 test will not be accepted.
Also required is a government-issued ID, such as a driver's license or passport to match the name with the one on the vaccine card. Wearing a face mask is mandatory, too.
For the time being, children 12 and younger are not allowed inside unless they have proof they've been vaccinated during a research trial.
