Tonight Impeachment: American Crime Story is starting in earnest. Whereas the first episode of this FX drama focused on Linda Tripp’s (Sarah Paulson) removal from the White House and the start of the Paula Jones (Annaleigh Ashford) case, “The President Kissed Me” focuses on exactly what you expect: Monica Lewinsky’s (Beanie Feldstein) romance with President Bill Clinton (Clive Owen).

When the Lewinsky-Clinton scandal broke, it immediately became fodder for countless jokes. Now American Crime Story is reflecting on this period of history and adding some much-needed humanity back to the three women central to this story. Wondering how you can watch? Here’s everything to know about how to watch Impeachment: American Crime Story Episode 2.

When Does Impeachment: American Crime Story Episode 2 Premiere?

This rewriting of history continues this week. Tuesday, September 14, marks the premiere of Impeachment: American Crime Story Episode 2, “The President Kissed Me.” Unlike other FX shows, this new episode will not be available on FX on Hulu the following day.

What Time Does Impeachment: American Crime Story Episode 2 Come On?

If you’re watching live, you’re in for a late night. Impeachment: American Crime Story premieres on FX this Tuesday, September 14, at 10/9c p.m.

Will Impeachment: American Crime Story Be on Hulu?

The short answer? No. American Crime Story is one of the few exceptions to the FX on Hulu rule. In 2016, Netflix purchased the exclusive global streaming rights to the show, meaning Impeachment will one day be coming to Netflix. These individual deals have happened before. For example, Amazon Prime Video has the exclusive streaming right to The Americans. It’s always possible that Netflix’s American Crime Story deal will expire and FX will renegotiate the rights so that the show ends up on Hulu. But for now, Impeachment isn’t coming to Hulu.

Will Impeachment: American Crime Story Be on Netflix?

Yes, but it’s going to be a while. As mentioned before, Netflix bought the streaming rights to American Crime Story in 2016. Once this season ends and its SVOD blackout period is over, Season 3 is expected to come to Netflix.

The best way to determine when that may happen is to look to the past. The final episode of American Crime Story‘s second season, The Assassination of Gianni Versace, premiered in March of 2018. In January of 2019 the series came to Netflix. If Impeachment follows roughly the same timeline, this season will likely land on Netflix in September of 2022.

How to Watch Impeachment: American Crime Story

Since the FX on Hulu deal doesn’t apply to American Crime Story, the only way to watch this season is through FX. So if you have cable, you’re all set. Turn your TV to FX on or before this Tuesday, September 14, at 10/9c p.m. It’s also possible to use your cable username and password to watch the first episode on FX’s site or the FXNOW app. By the way, the FXNOW app is available for iOS, Android, Amazon Fire Tablet, Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Xbox.

There is another way to watch thanks to the world of live TV skinny bundles. FX is included with YouTube TVHulu + Live TV, and Sling TV, meaning you can use any of those options to watch Impeachment live. Also, these services give you access to past episodes, so you can use them to catch up on this season.

That’s about where your streaming options end. American Crime Story is expected to go to Netflix in several months. But since it won’t be on Hulu, you won’t be able to stream new episodes without a cable or live TV skinny bundle subscription.
