Besides launching Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8, developer Epic Games also dropped a new update for the Creative Mode. They’ve added a lot of good stuff in the latest update, including new starter islands and a cannon spawner device.

What’s New in Update 18.00?

Update 18.00 adds new mausoleum assets to Spooky Prop Gallery B. It also fixes several issues, including some grass clipping through walls on the Spooky Mansion prefab and the purple invasion trees displayed as green on the minimap.

There are also two new starter maps that you can use. These are Lake Hub Spoke Island and Lake Hub Cardinal Island. The beauty of using these islands is letting you build new hubs that you can surround with water, allowing characters to swim in them.

For gameplay, there is a new option that allows you to add Infinite Consumables in the game. This new setting is different from the existing ones, like the Infinite Ammo, for example.

In addition, existing islands and devices that have Infinite Ammo already enabled before can also have the Infinite Consumables option turned on to maintain functionality.

Those who want to have fun firing cannons will be happy to know that the Cannon Spawner device is also added by this update.
