During the latest episode of Below Deck Mediterranean on Bravo, it’s a bit of an understatement to say stewardess Lexi Wilson wasn’t really being a team player. She slept in instead of joining the crew for a day off of water sports. She showed up to lunch but was less than pleasant. She slept in the van instead of joining the group for a nice dinner, and when she did show up, she brought with her some of the vilest language we’ve heard on the show.

When Chef Mathew, who, yes, was definitely provoking her by saying no one likes her, reprimands her for using the r-word (seriously, disgusting), Lexi snaps back by telling him, “Your parents should’ve aborted you.” Again: Mathew didn’t take a great approach, but nothing he said was really a lie. Lexi’s comment? Absolutely crossing the line. She only follows it up by declaring, “If this wasn’t on camera, I would smack your ass.” Cool, making physical threats, yet again.

In the next episode, which is currently available to stream on Peacock and will air Monday on Bravo, Lexi doesn’t let up. She’s only saying more terrible things, including the utter lie that Courtney can’t twerk. Thankfully, while she is screaming across the table, we did get this shot of these absolute legends in the episode:

Back on the yacht, the crew says goodbye to stew Delaney, who Katie decided to part ways with in order to not disrupt every single crew member’s bunking situation. Mathew, Lexi, and Katie sit down with Captain Sandy to try and work through their differences (though a rather futile endeavor at this point), and it’s not until Sandy speaks with Malia and Courtney that she realizes, “You know what I find interesting? How everybody starts with Lexi.” Well, maybe that’s because both are guilty, but he owns up to his words and actions and is never physical with his coworkers. She, on the other hand, created bad vibes on and off the boat at every chance she got.

Ultimately, Captain Sandy calls Lexi up to the salon and tells her, “From what I’ve seen, you’re a terrific human being.” Who else is excited to see if her opinion has changed since watching the show? Sandy goes on to say, “Threatening people, saying the things that you say. Considering how it’s permeated throughout the entire boat and some people just can’t get around it, the many outweigh the one. I have to make a hard decision and it’s not easy for me. I have to let you go.”

Lexi takes the news surprisingly calmly, packs her stuff, and leaves — of course not without shutting a door in Katie’s face first. It’s also obvious she was way more concerned with Mathew getting punished rather than accepting her own fate, which explains a lot. Many wanted to be sympathetic for what Lexi was going through at the time, but the only person she said nice things to was herself — and boy did they converse a lot!

Katie also made the decision not to bring Delaney back, but to get through the last two charters of the season with just her and Courtney handling the interior and honestly — it feels like the right move all around. Now, if we can get that gnarly bruise healed up on David’s leg, this crew can continue to let the good times sail.

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Monday at 9 pm ET/PT on Bravo with episodes premiering one week early on Peacock.
