Chrissy Teigen Reveals She Underwent Surgery To Remove Fat From Her Cheeks, Says She Has 'No Shame' About It
Chrissy Teigen revealed she underwent a cosmetic surgical procedure to have fat taken out of her cheeks — and has no regrets about it.
"I did that Dr. [Jason] Diamond buccal fat removal thing here," the embattled celebrity said, per The Cosmetic Lane, as she pointed to her cheeks to show off her more toned face structure. "And since I quit drinking, I’m really seeing the results, and I like it. Yeah, I did it."
John Legend's wife — who revealed she quit drinking last December but has since "had a few (wine) hiccups" here and there — declared she wasn't embarrassed about undergoing surgery. “no shame in my dr diamond game," Teigen captioned the clip, while tagging @drjasondiamond.
Diamond is a respected facial plastic surgeon and starred on E!'s Dr. 90210 as well as Netflix's Celebrity Plastic Surgeons.
The mother-of-two has been very open in the past about the work she's had done, and even once ironically joked to reporters: "Everything about me is fake except my cheeks."
The former Sports Illustrated model previously revealed she got liposuction in her armpits in 2017, sharing with Refinery 29 that she "had an armpit sucked out, which was one of the best things."

"It’s a big secret, but I don’t care,” she added of going under the knife at the time, while admitting the procedure boosted her self-esteem. “It made me feel better in dresses; I felt more confident. It was the dumbest, stupidest thing I’ve ever done. The dumbest, but I like it, whatever. I have no regrets, honestly."
The Cravings cookbook author recently revealed she got Botox in her armpits to help control her sweating. In addition, Teigen got a breast augmentation at the start of her career, but had them removed last June because she was "just over it."
Teigen's surgical revelation comes after she was embroiled in scandal over the summer for re-surfaced tweets and messages she allegedly sent to non-binary model Courtney Stodden, who was only a teenager at the time.
Since coming under fire, the 35-year-old lost several business deals and famous friends. Teigen was also replaced by Gigi Hadid for her role as the narrator in Never Have I Ever.
Aside from issuing an apology for her nasty messages — admitting in June that she was an "insecure, attention-seeking troll" — the Snack Off alum has been trying to get back in her A-list pals' good graces.
After "lavishing them with gifts and laying on the compliments" didn't work, an insider exclusively told OK! Teigen is trying to "become the nicest, most generous person ever" in the hopes of winning back her famous friends.
