Video of Toddler Welcoming Brothers Back From School Leaves Internet in Tears

A video of a little girl greeting her three brothers as they return home from school has gone viral, with many people admitting it left them in tears.

The clip, which was posted to Instagram by a life coach named Brittany Muddamalle, known on the app as Almostindianwife, has already been viewed by more than 1 million people.

Text overlaying the footage, which takes place on a suburban street in Bolingbrook, Illinois, explains that: "This is what happened when her big brothers come home from school."

The toddler, whose name is Emilia but is known as Emmy for short, can then be seen running towards her three older siblings as she shouts "Hi!"

The boys, who all look younger than 10, are also running down the path, as they yell back "Emmy! Emmy I see you!"

The three then throw their schoolbags on the ground as their sister gets closer before pulling her into a group hug.

Muddamalle captioned the sweet clip, writing: "Every. Single. Time. [love-heart emoji]."

The video, which can be watched here, has surpassed 69,500 likes and many people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts on the heartwarming footage.

One Instagram user, Lysaterkeurst, wrote: "The world needs more of this!!! I love your kiddos so much!"

Another person, Bhashakids, added: "What a blessing! Save this for their wedding videos", alongside a string of love-heart emojis.

Ampersand.loves gushed: "Oh my heart I love this that pure love."

Liveloveultrarun typed: "That's the most precious thing! The world needs more of this right now."

Lauracmarie commented: "Tell me you cry everyday without telling me you cry everyday!!!!" and added four crying-face emojis.

Grazefullyyoursva revealed: "Aww I just noticed her name too we have an Emilia, slightly different spelling, we call ours Emmy too I seriously almost cried over how cute this is."

Nikkinel21 exclaimed: "This is the absolute cutest thing I have ever seen also makes me wish I had a brother!!!"

Speaking to Newsweek, Muddamalle explained: "I think this video has spread like wildfire because it brought people together.

"Our world is divided over everything that makes us different, but this video gave people something in common.

"They could feel the love the kids have for each other and it gave people hope."

Another sweet family moment that recently went viral was a video showing a woman dancing while carrying her grandmother.

The footage was shared to TikTok by a 93-year-old called Fran, on her account Fran_the_hip_gram. It begins with an old clip of Fran carrying her granddaughter to dance when she was young.

Text overlaying the video, which has been viewed 6.2 million times, reads: "When you used to carry your granddaughter to dance, but now, at 92, she carries you."
