Three minor leaguers in the Dodgers’ organization received player of the week honors for their performances September 6-12. Cristian Santana (Triple-A West), Andy Pages (High-A Central) and Jose Ramos (Low-A West) all won hitter of the week for their respective levels.

Santana went 10-for-18 (.556) during the week with two homers, three doubles and a walk to go with six runs driven in. The 24-year-old has been on a steady climb since the middle of June. After a slow start, Santana is 75-for-224 (.335) with 20 extra-base hits.

Another player finding a groove in the organization, Pages has shown no shortage of power. The 20-year-old out of La Habana, Cuba hit four of his 30 home runs this year during the week.

Pages hit .417 (10-for-24) in six games and drove in 11 runs to earn the award. Since August 14, Pages is 29-for-95 (.305) with seven long balls and has been putting his plate discipline on display with 20 walks against 27 strikeouts.

Ramos has nothing but hit for Low-A Rancho and this last week it was on full display. The 20-year-old outfielder was 11-fo-27 (.407) with six extra-base hits, including three homers.

Triple-A Oklahoma City

The Dodgers had a big night at the dish, smacking Salt Lake around for 12 runs on 19 hits. OKC relievers combined for five scoreless to secure the 12-2 win.

Oklahoma City has now won four of the first five games of the current series as well as six of their last seven games and eight of their last 10 games.

Seven of the nine hitters in the lineup for the Dodgers had at least two hits, four of the seven having at least three. One of those was Luke Raley who slugged his 16th homer and four RBI in a 3-for-4 night.

Zach McKinstry hit a solo shot in the ninth to add to the route. Santana celebrating his player of the week honor with a 2-for-6 night with two runs driven in.
