A couple of teams meddling around the American League Central meet on Tuesday in a pair of games, as they are having to make up for a postponed game earlier this season, as the Cleveland Indians take on the Minnesota Twins.

The Indians continue to hold their spot as the worst second-place record in the majors. They come into Tuesday with a 69-72 record, and are 4-8 in the month of September so far. They are well behind the Central-leading Chicago White Sox, 12 games to be exact, and are 9.5 games behind the second Wild Card spot in the AL. They stumble into the series, falling in six of their last seven egames.

Minnesota has been fighting the Kansas City Royals for last in the Central for the majority of the season. Coming into the three-game set, they are double-digits out of first and a playoff spot with a 63-81 record. Similar to the Indians, they have only won five times this month, four of them in a row, including winning three of four against Cleveland last week.

Heading into Minneapolis, the Twins, shockingly enough, have the edge this season against the Indians, having won 10 of the 16 matchups.
