Baby Shark Movie is Heading to the Big-Screen for a Limited Time

Baby Shark doo doo doo doo doo doo movie is coming to theaters for a limited time. Once it’s in the head, it stays there for a long time. Talk about an earworm.

SmartStudy, the company behind the film Pinkfong and Baby Shark’s Space Adventure, is partnering with Iconic Events to bring the film to theaters for a limited time on Oct. 9 and 10.

Iconic Events is the event cinema company behind the Emmy-winning comedy special Bo Burnham: Inside.

Pinkfong and Baby Shark, the title characters in the family-friendly picture, travel across space and visit exotic planets in quest of lost star parts so they may return home. Pinkfong’s most famous songs, including the annoyingly catchy “Baby Shark,” are featured in the feature-length adventure.

The earworm has become an unusual sensation, with over 112 million views on a YouTube video titled “1 hour loop of baby shark.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring ‘Pinkfong & Baby Shark’s Space Adventure’ to theaters, providing our fans with a fresh and exciting way to enjoy the cinematic special with family and friends,” said Bin Jeong, CEO of Pinkfong USA, via Deadline. “The theater experience brings a new level of excitement and interaction that truly lends itself well to this song-filled adventure.”

“Pinkfong and Baby Shark are well-loved by children around the world,” said Iconic CEO Steve Bunnell. “Iconic Events Releasing is overjoyed to present this fun and educational family event in movie theaters for the first time in North America so that families can experience the magic of the big screen together.”

Tickets will be going on sale Thursday.
