Despite going winless this weekend against the Dodgers, the Padres still grasp the NL’s second Wild Card spot. However, while the Cincinnati Reds face the lowly Pittsburgh Pirates this week, the Padres travel to San Francisco to face MLB’s best team, the San Francisco Giants.

This is the week the Padres need to have it click or they may lose their chance. Opportunity is knocking for other teams to take their playoff spot, and the Padres need to shut the door back in their faces.
