This Tuesday the New York Red Bulls visit Columbus Crew at Lower.com Field. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m ET.

Here are the Keys to the Game, presented by TriHonda Dealers:

Every Single Player Will be Important

The Red Bulls are about to embark on a schedule that will include five matches this month, two of which will be against New York City FC.

Seeing players like Omar Sowe and Youba Diarra get minutes against D.C. means that Head Coach Gerhard Struber will look to spread the load of minutes across his roster.

“We know that the next few weeks are not easy,” Struber said after the 1-1 draw against D.C. “We need every single player. Right now, it's a good feeling that we have some very, very good replacements on the bench, and I can feel everyone from the whole roster is ready to bring an impact.”

Start Positive Momentum Away from RBA

New York have only one win away from Red Bull Arena, and that happened back in early July.

With these next two away matches coming up, the Red Bulls have a great opportunity to start grabbing important away wins to close out the season.

In the 2021 season, New York still have seven away games to play.

Cristian Cásseres Jr., who came off the bench in the second half against D.C., scored his last MLS goals in the away win against Orlando City back in July.

Columbus Have Lost Eight of their Last Nine Meetings

Columbus have struggled this season, and their recent results show it. After defeating FC Cincy 3-2 back on August 27, they’ve gone on to lose their last two games.

The Red Bulls managed to defeat them in their recent meeting at Red Bull Arena, thanks to superb performances from John Tolkin and Carlos Coronel.
