If anyone should understand the assignment when it comes to fashion, it's supermodel of the world, Gigi Hadid. The seasoned Met Gala veteran just made her stunning entrance to fashion's biggest night and — get this — she rocked a *fire* red 60s hair moment that we need to discuss right now.

Although the bombshell has rocked red hair in the past, it's never been this vibrant. The Met Gala is the perfect occasion to pull off a stunning hair transformation, and Gigi took advantage. She exceeded all expectations as her hair was pulled in a voluminous ponytail with a dazzling black Prada hair accessory.

Gigi also whipped out a stunning white Prada gown for the evening, which was paired with black leather gloves and black crystal-embellished tights. I mean, she seriously emulated 60s glamour (which is making a massive comeback, thanks to celebs like Ariana Grande).

If you're wondering where her longtime boyfriend Zayn Malik might be, the supermodel showed up solo. Although he attended with Gigi in 2016, Zayn isn't really a big fan of the coveted fashion event.

“Now, it’s not something I would go to,” he told Just Jared. “I’d rather be sitting at my house, doing something productive, than dressing up in really expensive clothes and being photographed on a red carpet….To do the self-indulgent 'Look at me, I’m amazing' thing on the red carpet, it’s not me.”

The Met may not be Zayn's thing, but that just means there's more for Gigi.
