Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden has dropped a few hints about the soap's upcoming stunts, promising fans a "huge week" involving not one, nor two, but four dramatic scenes.
Following reports earlier this month that some of the Emmerdale cast had been spotted filming at Tees Barrage, which hosts white water rapid courses, Matthew appeared on Loose Women to hint at what's next for his character David Metcalfe.
David found his life in danger last week, after taking a bullet for Victoria Sugden during Russ Posner's armed siege.

Fortunately, Matthew has confirmed that David will "recover" from his emergency surgery, but unfortunately, the drama won't stop there. "David does recover and then we have a huge week coming up, which we're filming at the moment," the actor teased.
Revealing that there's trouble ahead for David and Meena Jutla, Matthew added: "It has something to do with Meena, that's all I can say."
Offering a little more detail on Emmerdale's mysterious stunt week, Matthew continued: "There's four big stunts that happen over that week. We've just been filming that over the last month, and over the week that it's going to be onscreen there's four huge stunts."

Matthew went on to promising viewers some of the most ambitious action scenes in soap history. "Two of them in particular have never ever been done before on a soap, so it's been a massive block for us," he said.
"I'm covered in bruises and cuts, and it's been fantastic."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
