PORTLAND, Ore. – Health officials reported 4,700 new coronavirus cases in Oregon over the weekend, pushing the state’s total number of cases to more than 300,000 presumptive and confirmed cases since the pandemic began.
The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) also reported 32 new COVID-19 related deaths over the weekend, pushing the state’s death toll to 3,446.
As of Monday, there were 1,075 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Oregon, down 11 people from Sunday.
Of those patients, 274 were in the intensive care unit. There are 62 available ICU beds across the state – accounting for roughly 10% availability.
The latest coronavirus cases are from Friday, Sept. 10 (2,142 cases), Saturday (1,513 cases) and Sunday (1,045 cases).

OHA said it would provide more information about those who died later.
