Arrow star Stephen Amell has paid tribute to his time on the superhero show with a brand-new arrowhead tattoo.
Best known for portraying Oliver Queen/Green Arrow for eight years in total, the Canadian actor wanted to "keep a gentle reminder" of the title's significance in his life.

"Been thinking a lot recently about Arrow and the impact it had on my life. In order to move forward, I wanted to keep a gentle reminder," Amell wrote next to a picture of his new artwork on Instagram yesterday (September 12).
Back in 2019, he told Entertainment Weekly exactly how he was feeling heading into Arrow's curtain call: "I'm very emotional and melancholy, but it's time. I'm 38 years old, and I got this job when I was 30. I'd never had a job for more than a year.
"The fact that I've done this for the better part of a decade, and I'm not going to do it anymore, is a little frightening."

Despite seemingly hanging up his bow and arrow for good, Amell previously admitted that he'd definitely reprise the archer if any of the Arrowverse shows needed him.
"I owe so much to them," he explained. "So if five years from now they're wrapping up Show X and they were like, 'You know what would be the cherry on top of the sundae? Would you come back?' What am I going to say? 'No?'
"It's a shitty idea that I'd say no. You do what you can. I owe a lot to people, so if they need something from me, they can always have it."
Amell can currently be seen alongside Vikings' Alexander Ludwig in wrestling drama Heels.
