Hardin County – The Hardin County Master Gardeners are hosting “Incredible Garlic” on Thursday evening September 16.

This event begins at 6:00 pm and will feature Stewart Coats, Hardin County OSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteer, and award-winning vegetable gardener along with other Master Gardener Volunteers. The hour-long event will take place at the Friendship Gardens of Hardin County, which is located at 960 Kohler Street in Kenton.

Come learn all about garlic: When to plant, how to grow, how and when to harvest.

Also, find out about winter preservation of vegetables. You’ve grown them, now what are you going to do with them?

No pre-registration is required for this free program so come out and see the educational Friendship Gardens and learn about garlic while you are there.

Questions about this event can be directed to the Hardin County Master Gardener Volunteers at the Hardin County OSU Extension office by calling 419-674-2297.
