SYRACUSE N.Y.- The Orange (3-2) return home to host Binghamton (4-1) at the SU Soccer Stadium on Tuesday (Sept. 14) at 7 p.m.  Syracuse is coming off of a 3-1 win at Virginia in its ACC opener. Sophomore Deandre Kerr netted two goals for the Orange in the win against the Cavaliers, who are among the teams receiving votes in the national rankings. Admission to the SU Soccer Stadium is free. All fans attending games must adhere to Syracuse University's COVID-19 policy, which can be found here.
 
THE SERIES
Monday's match will be the 12th meeting between the Orange and the Bearcats. The first match dates to 1971 and the most recent meeting was in 2020. Syracuse leads the series 7-5 and are on a five-game winning streak.
 
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
  • Head Coach Paul Marco is in his 20th season leading the program and has led the team to two American East Conference titles
  • The Bearcats are 4-1 on the 2021 season
  • Binghamton is in the American East Conference
 
ORANGE TO WATCH
  • Sophomore forward Deandre Kerr scored three goals in two games this past week and is tied for second in the ACC in goals scored and leads the conference in shots on goal.
  • Freshman midfielder Curt Calov scored his first collegiate goal in the win against Niagara (Sept. 6).
  • Graduate Student Lucas Daunhauer is 2-0 on the season, recording four saves.
 
UP NEXT
The Orange kick of their home ACC competition on Friday (Sept. 17) at 7 p.m. against Louisville.
