County honors the fallen at 9/11 memorial event

On Saturday morning Lampasas County residents, veterans, first responders and active-duty servicemembers assembled around the courthouse square with solemn remembrances and vows to "never forget." The homage was part of a ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
