Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Songs Capture Historic Nine Spots In The Billboard Hot 100 Top 10

It's one of the most dominant chart performances in Hot 100 history.

Drake’s Certified Lover Boy posted a monster performance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, taking nine of the Top 10 slots and charting all 21 songs in the Top 40. It’s only the second time in history that an artist has boasted all five of the biggest songs in the country, after The Beatles did so in 1964, and the first time ever that an artist has commanded as many as nine spots in the Top 10.

According to Billboard, Drake’s Future and Young Thug collaboration, “Way Too Sexy” leads the way with the No. 1 spot. It marks Future’s first chart-topping hit, giving him the longest wait between his first chart entry and his first No. 1 with 126 total entries. It’s Young Thug’s third chart leader and Drake’s ninth.

“Way Too Sexy” is followed by Drake’s Lil Baby collaboration, “Girls Want Girls,” at No. 2, and his Travis Scott team-up, “Fair Trade,” at No. 3. Album-opener “Champagne Poetry” and “Knife Talk” with 21 Savage and Project Pat round out the Top 5.

Only Justin Bieber and The Kid LAROI’s “Stay” was able to compete against Drake’s onslaught, coming in at No. 6 after spending multiple weeks at No. 1 earlier this summer.

Drake now has 54 career total Top 10s, extending his lead over Madonna’s 38. He boasts 258 total Hot 100 entries, by far the most of any artist.
