Patrick Mahomes’ fiancee was on emotional rollercoaster during Chiefs opener

Brittany Matthews live-tweeted fiance Patrick Mahomes’ season opener against the Browns on Sunday, and things got heated.

In the first quarter of Kansas City’s 33-29 win against Cleveland, Matthews took to Twitter to slam Browns safety Ronnie Harrison Jr., who got ejected after an in-game scuffle. Harrison Jr. apparently stepped on a Chiefs player, before he appeared to shove a Kansas City assistant coach.

In a series of tweets, Matthews — who’s known for her aggressive social media presence when it comes to Mahomes and the Chiefs — slammed the situation without naming Harrison Jr. She also praised the Chiefs’ defense.

“Excuse me, don’t be pushing people from the start sir,” she tweeted, adding, “BOOOOOOOOO get outta here,” in a followup tweet.

Matthews also wrote, “WHAT THE FLYING FRICK” and “He just hit our coach? I’m confused,” in two separate tweets.

Matthews also shared a number of Instagram posts from Arrowhead Stadium, where Mahomes proposed in September 2020, and showed off the couple’s 6-month-old daughter Sterling Skye.

“Game Day #15 Girlssss,” Matthews captioned an Instagram post that included three photos of the mother-daughter duo. Sterling was all smiles in a red and gold glittery outfit, which included a pair of tiny shoes with her dad’s No. 15 on the toes.

Matthews shared another photo of the couple’s first child and wrote, “Hi everybody just here to cheer on my daddy @patrickmahomes.”

Matthews enjoyed the game with friends and family, including Mahomes’ younger brother Jackson, from a suite inside the Chiefs’ home stadium.

Mahomes and Matthews are set to tie the knot sometime in 2022, the certified personal trainer confirmed earlier this year.

“It’s wedding planning time. We have a date & place wahooooo #2022,” she wrote on Instagram in March.
