Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh had quite the way to describe his running game after their latest victory.

When he was asked about it during his Monday afternoon press conference, he compared his team’s running game to George Patton, who was a general for the United States Army during World War II.

Neil Armstrong on the other hand is one of the most famous astronauts of all time, so comparing his work to the Wolverines passing game is definitely a little clever.

2 Wolverines running backs had over 100 yards rushing that includes Blake Corum, who was just named one of the B1G players of the week. He finished with 21 carries for 171 yards, plus 3 touchdowns.

Hassan Haskins was the other back to have over 100 yards rushing as he finished with 27 carries for 155 yards, plus a touchdown. He also averaged nearly 6 yards a carry.

If a repeat performance like this happens again, it’ll be interesting to see what clever comparison Harbaugh will come up with to describe his running game.
