The Humane Society says crews spent Sunday rescuing the dogs – some in outdoor cages, and some running loose inside and outside a trailer on the property.
“Absolutely disgusting conditions and filth that these poor babies were living in,” reads a Facebook post from the Humane Society.
All the dogs were rescued and are being cared for, with full medical exams on the agenda this week.
The Humane Society is asking for donations to help care for these dogs, who will eventually find new homes.
The Humane Society didn’t say who owned the property.
The Facebook post goes on to say:
“It’s amazing how these terrified dogs started wagging their tails when we tucked them in for the night.”
