Apple TV+ showcases the new faces joining the second season of drama series ‘The Morning Show’

We learned back in June of this year that the second season of the hit drama series The Morning Show would make its premiere on Apple TV+ on September 17, 2021. It wasn’t until August that we got our first look at what’s coming next for everyone involved with the first official trailer. And now, a new featurette shows us who’s new amongst the cast.

The new look at the upcoming season is almost three minutes in length. Which means you get plenty of new footage to pour over before the second season arrives later this week. And while the primary focus is on who’s new, plenty of familiar faces get screen time, too. That includes Jennifer Aniston as Alex Levy, Reese Witherspoon as Bradley Jackson, and Billy Crudup as Cory Ellison.

But, of course, there are some noteworthy new additions to the cast.

That includes Julianna Margulies, Greta Lee, Ruairi O’Connor, Hasan Minhaj, Tara Karsian, Valeria Golino, and Cybil Richards. As mentioned above, we get new footage from the upcoming season. But it’s also a featurette, so there are also interviews with the cast as well.

The second season of The Morning Show is going to take place almost immediately after the explosive events of the first season. However, there was a bit of a delay to the production due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. And, as we learned from one of the show’s stars, the new season will also tackle the pandemic directly, too.

As a refresher, here’s the official trailer for the second season:

Are you looking forward to the arrival of the second season? We’ll get to see how everything starts this Friday, September 17.
