The deceased male has been identified as Michael Carreras, 59, of North Platte.  Next of kin has been notified.&nbsp;&nbsp;

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-Police said an investigation concluded that a man whose body was recovered from under a bridge in North Platte died of natural causes.

On Sept. 12 at 10:37 a.m., officers were called to the 1500 Block of South Jeffers, near the South River Bridge, for a possible deceased subject. 

 Upon arrival, Officers located a 59-year-old male under the bridge, who was deceased.  Officers began an investigation into the death at that time. 

 After the investigation concluded, it was determined there was no foul play involved and the male died of natural causes. 

 The North Platte Police Department extends its condolences to the family of the deceased.

  The North Platte Fire Department and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
