Far Cry 6 is set to be released this October 7 and if the hype is to be believed, it’s set to offer new experiences for everyone. For example, players get the chance to fly in wingsuits and admire Yara’s stunning landscapes. A lot has actually been revealed but today, we get to look at the plans after the game is released.
One of these is the release of the Season Pass where owners get access to three DLC episodes that let them take on the role of the villains of the past. The DLC episodes are:
- Episode 1: Vaas: Insanity is planned for release in November 2021.
- Episode 2: Pagan: Control is planned for release in January 2022.
- Episode 3: Joseph: Collapse is planned for release in March 2022.
Blood Dragon
PC players who have the Season Pass get Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, released back in 2013. Console players, meanwhile, get the remastered version, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon: Classic Edition. By the way, the Classic Edition is coming on Google Stadia in 2022.
There’s also the Blood Dragon Set, which offers seven items that can be used in Far Cry 6:
- One outfit: Blood Dragon Gear Set
- Two weapons: AJM9 and Kobracon
- One vehicle: Omega Enforcer
- One weapon charm: KillStar
- One Fang for Hire: K-9000
- One vehicle Chibi: Blood Dragon Chibi

All players also get access to other post-launch content for free. These are:
- Three crossover missions that feature, among others, Danny Trejo and Rambo.
- Weekly Insurgencies
- Each week from launch, supporters of Antón Castillo rise across the island of Yara and pose new threats for players to eliminate.
- Players need to track and eliminate them to earn some new gear.
- This is available after completing the main campaign.
- Six Special Operations
- Takes place in unique new areas.
- These operations introduce new gameplay mechanics like grabbing highly unstable chemical weapons from Antón’s arms dealers and getting to the extraction point before they overheat.
- Two locations are available at launch which are:
- Mesozoico
- Maceo
- Four maps are set to be launched at a later date.
Far Cry 6 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Amazon Luna, and Stadia.
