Brach was designated for assignment by the Reds on Monday.
Brach has allowed four runs (three earned) in one inning of work, split across two appearances, since he returned from a shoulder injury in early September. He now owns a 6.30 ERA on the season. He'll make way for Kyle Farmer to return from the paternity list.
